Happiness is...

...a freshly cut bar of soap. The 100% natural Lavender soap turned out beautifully. I couldn't be more thrilled with it. Now for the month of time to truck by so we can start using it and sharing it with the world!

Today's batch is already sleeping, and has been for about 4 hours now. Strawberries and cream - well the strawberries part. The cream will happen in a couple of weeks after it's at least half cured.

I have the doors open and I keep getting whiffs of lavender and the occasional strawberry whiff coming from the kitchen. I feel like I've died and gone to soapy heaven!

My friendly UPS guy brought me another box today as well. It had a bunch of new soap colors in it, and I can't wait to use most of them this weekend. I have 2 more batches planned - one that is yet unnamed but is a beautiful earthy floral essential oil blend, and also a mango & papaya soap. The weather turns cold and my nose turns to spring and summer, what can I say?
